Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of rugember.com and any order you place with us. Placing an order means you accept them.

Who we are

Using the store

You may browse and buy if you can form a binding contract where you live. You agree not to misuse the site: no scraping at a scale that degrades service for others, no attempts to break authentication, no reselling our images or copy as your own.

You do not need an account to order or to track. We identify you by the email you use at checkout and a 6-digit code we send to it.

Products and colour

Our washable rugs are one piece: a cotton-based weave bonded to a non-slip backing. We photograph every design in daylight and edit as little as possible, but screens differ. Colour can read slightly warmer or cooler than the listing depending on your device and the light in your room. That difference alone is covered by our 30-day free returns.

Sizes are given as nominal dimensions. Textiles are made on looms and finished by hand, so a small tolerance is normal and not a defect.

Custom-cut rugs

Custom sizes are cut and bound for your measurements, priced by the square foot, and shipped in 7 to 8 business days. Because cutting starts soon after you order, a custom order can be changed or cancelled only until we begin cutting; write to us as soon as possible and we will tell you where your order stands. Once it ships, custom rugs are covered by the same 30-day free returns as everything else.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and include no hidden fees. Shipping is free. Where DDP applies, duties and import taxes are collected at checkout; otherwise your customs authority may charge them on delivery.

We may correct pricing or description errors at any time, including after an order is placed. If a correction affects your order, we will contact you first and you may cancel for a full refund.

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. We do not store your card details.

Orders

An order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we send your shipping confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, refunding you in full, if the item is unavailable, the price was clearly wrong, or we cannot ship to your address.

Our content

The designs, photographs, text and code on this site belong to Rugember. You may share links and normal-sized images for personal, non-commercial use. Anything beyond that needs our written permission.

Warranty and liability

We stand behind what we make: if a rug arrives damaged, faulty or wrong, we replace it or refund you in full. Beyond that, the site and its content are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, Rugember is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country that cannot be waived.

How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protections of the mandatory law of your own country.
