Colors can read slightly differently from screen to screen.
The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Brush Ribbon Ink is the most graphic of the family, near-black ribbons on a light gray ground.
Each dark stroke has a soft band of chalk white just above it, like a faint highlight. These pairs repeat at even intervals across the rug with plain gray between them, and run straight off the edges, with no border and no center. The dark strokes swell and thin along their length like a brush pressed and lifted, so their edges ripple gently.
The white band is blurred and close to the ground color, so from across the room you see crisp dark lines on gray, and the highlight only shows up close.
Light gray and chalk white, drawn over in near-black.

Matte black and smoked glass repeat the lines, with concrete for a cooler edge.
Cognac leather or brass adds warmth, with walnut to soften the black and gray.
On pale floors the dark lines read sharp and the rug stays light and clean. On dark wood the gray becomes the bright shape in the room and the black lines tie it back to the floor.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
