The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Folk Orchard Slate Blue lays out a folk garden in square panels of slate blue and charcoal.
Fruit trees topped with a striped pomegranate and slim cypresses stand in powder blue among vermilion blossoms, a tulip and two carnations rise from a pale urn, and star medallions set a vermilion star inside a ring of powder blue rays. Cream lines frame the panels with small rosettes where they cross, and the border runs a chain of cream daisies inside a narrow scroll band.
Fine horizontal wear runs through the grounds, so the panels look softened by use rather than freshly drawn.
Slate blue, charcoal and powder blue, lit by vermilion flowers and cream.
Slate blue takes walnut, brass and cognac leather, warm materials against a cool ground.
Linen and chalk white let the panels breathe, with pale oak underfoot.
Terracotta or rust picks up the red flowers, with cream to soften the room.
On pale floors the slate and charcoal checker reads clearly and the red flowers stand out. On dark wood the charcoal panels merge with the floor and the lighter panels take the lead.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
