Colors can read slightly differently from screen to screen.
The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Graphite Wash is a charcoal washable rug scratched all over with pale marks.
Vertical and horizontal strokes cross each other across the whole field, bitten through the dark ground so the pale base shows underneath. Nothing is centred and nothing repeats; the marks simply crowd more thickly in some passes than others.
The strokes lean slightly. They are not plumb, and that tilt is what keeps a very busy surface from reading as machine noise.
Charcoal ground with silver and chalk white in the marks.

The pale marks pick up concrete and pale plaster, set against this rug's dark ground.
One warm color is essential here: cognac tones, rust or brass against this graphite rug.
On pale oak the rug reads as a dark plane with light in it. On dark floors it flattens and you lose the scratching.
No cover to unzip, no pad to peel apart. One woven piece, in and out of your own machine.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
