Colors can read slightly differently from screen to screen.
The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Harbor Check is the same checkerboard in denim blue.
A plain slubbed field, woven to look like coarse linen, with all the pattern held in one row of cream and blue squares around the edge. The corners turn cleanly, so the border reads as a single unbroken line.
The blue is not flat. Paler threads run through it in horizontal passes, so the field reads washed rather than dyed.
Denim and slate blue in the field, cream in the checks.
Blue takes pale oak, white paint and galvanised metal, a cool note on this rug.
Cream checks sit with linen, white paint and terracotta, one warm note on this rug.
Tan leather is the warm note that keeps this rug from going cold.
On warm wood the blue looks softer and greyer. On gray or concrete floors it reads clearly blue.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
