The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Ikat Spindle Indigo runs wavy columns of deep indigo from end to end, with blue-gray ikat chains between them.
Each chain is a stack of pointed pods, every one holding a small cream eye, and cream outlines pinch together where one pod meets the next. The edges are feathered as in ikat cloth: the cream breaks into short vertical streaks where it meets the blue, and the eyes taper into flame-like tips. A narrow border of crosswise indigo and cream pinstripes frames the field, with nested squares at the corners.
Fine teal flecks run across the indigo in horizontal lines, so up close it reads as dyed thread and from across the room as bold, rippling stripes.
Deep indigo and blue-gray, outlined in cream and flecked with teal.

Chalk white and linen keep it crisp, with undyed cotton to soften the room.
Rust or ochre gives one warm accent, with cream walls to settle the indigo.
On pale oak the indigo columns read strong and the cream outlines stay crisp. On dark wood the indigo sinks into the floor and the blue-gray chains carry the pattern.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
