The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Lagoon Mist is a washable rug that looks painted rather than woven.
Broad sweeps of teal, sage and sand cross the field on the diagonal, brushed out at their edges so one color dissolves into the next. There is no motif, no border and no symmetry. It is weather on cloth.
The brush marks run in one direction. Turn the rug and the light lands differently, so the same piece can read greener or sandier depending which way it faces.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
