The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Leaf Veil Olive is the leaf pattern in pale sage over a soft olive green.
Broad oval leaves that narrow to a point grow along thin winding stems, and where the stems branch, four leaves open from a single point. Each leaf is outlined in pale sage with a lighter vein down the middle and a soft gray wash over one half, so it looks sheer and lit from one side. A second layer of dimmer leaves sits behind them in shadow, and the branches repeat edge to edge with no center. A narrow border of small leaves twists along the edge like a garland on a lighter olive ground, set off from the field by a thin pale line.
Up close a fine linen-like grain runs through the surface, the green clouds lighter and darker, and thin golden lines run down it at intervals; from across the room it reads like leaves seen in shade.
Olive and moss green in the ground, with pale sage and stone leaves shaded in soft gray.

Linen and undyed cotton keep it soft, with chalk white walls to open the room.
Terracotta or rust gives one warm note, with cream to soften the contrast.
On pale oak the olive reads earthy and the sage leaves stay light. On dark wood the green deepens toward moss and the pale leaves carry the pattern.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
