Colors can read slightly differently from screen to screen.
The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Lozenge Kilim Cocoa is the quietest version, the kilim pattern drawn brown on brown.
The diamonds, zigzags, petal sprays and combs of small triangles are all there, in a taupe brown only a little grayer than the ground, so they surface as soft relief when light falls across the rug. What reads clearly is a pair of pale dotted diamonds at the heart of each large diamond and rows of tiny pale stars along the fine stripes. The stepped diamonds of the border are tone on tone as well.
From standing height it reads close to a plain brown rug with a faint dotted rhythm, and fine rust and olive flecks keep the surface from going flat.
Cocoa brown and grayish taupe, lit only by pale gray dots.

Linen and undyed cotton keep it soft, with sand-colored walls to keep the room warm.
Matte black and brass give it an edge, with chalk white to frame the brown.
On pale oak it sits as a warm brown block and the pale dots read as a quiet rhythm. On dark wood it comes close to the floor's own tone, so the rug shows mostly as texture.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
