TaupeColors can read slightly differently from screen to screen.
The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Mod Petal Taupe is the same flower pattern worked tone on tone in warm taupe and pale stone.
Here the flowers and the ground share almost the same taupe, so the pale stone leaves are what the eye catches first, scattered across the field as crescents and teardrops. The five-petal flowers surface between them as soft silhouettes in three sizes, each center marked by a faint sage gray ring. A pale stone band with a scalloped outer edge frames the field inside a narrow taupe margin.
A fine horizontal grain runs through it, so from across the room it reads as a quiet, mottled texture and the flowers only come into focus up close.
Warm taupe with a hint of mauve, pale stone leaves and a trace of sage in the flower centers.

Walnut and brass add warmth, with cream walls to keep the room soft.
Sage or eucalyptus picks up the flower rings, with chalk white to keep it fresh.
On pale oak the taupe deepens and the pale leaves stand out clearly. On dark wood the rug reads as one light, soft field and the pattern recedes into texture.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
