Colors can read slightly differently from screen to screen.
The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Patchwork Fade is a cream washable rug assembled from twenty different rugs.
The field is cut into rectangles of unequal size, each one carrying a different antique drawing: a trellis here, a vine there, a corner of a border, half a prayer arch. Every panel has been washed until its color gave up, so the whole thing settles into one pale range.
The panels do not line up into a grid. Some run tall, some wide, and a few are only a strip, which is what makes it read as salvage rather than as a printed check.
Oatmeal, sand and bone, with brown and faded olive surviving in the drawing.

Brown drawing picks up cognac leather and cane, warm notes against this pale, quiet rug.
Matte black is the only dark note this pale rug needs, next to soft linen.
On dark wood the panels separate clearly. On pale oak the rug melts into the floor and only the drawing survives.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
