Colors can read slightly differently from screen to screen.
The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Patchwork Noir is the same salvage, overdyed until only the drawing is left.
Twenty panels of different antique patterns, all pulled down into charcoal and graphite. The medallions, vines and borders are still there, but you read them as texture first and pattern second, the way you read a photograph of a rug rather than the rug.
The pale threads that survive the overdye are the whole trick. They are what stops a very dark rug from becoming a hole in the floor.
Charcoal and graphite throughout, with silver threads holding the drawing.

Silver drawing picks up brushed steel and white paint, with linen lifting this rug's floor.
One warm color rescues this dark rug: cognac tones, rust or brass against its ground.
On pale oak the panels read clearly and the rug looks graphic. On dark wood it becomes one deep shadow with a faint pattern in it.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
