The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Porcelain Bloom is a blush washable rug with a blue medallion opened out like a flower.
The center is a many-petalled rosette drawn in slate blue, each petal outlined and filled with its own small pattern. It sits on a pale rose field scattered with tiny sprigs, inside a scalloped panel, with blue corner pieces and a wide ivory border of vines.
The blue is doing two jobs: it draws the medallion and it lines the borders, so the eye keeps traveling from the middle out to the edge and back.
Pale rose and cream in the field, slate blue in the medallion and corners, with gold flecks in the outer border.

Deep green stays the one unexpected note against cream, linen and this soft pink rug.
Matte black gives this pale rug one quiet dark point, framed by cream and linen.
On warm wood the rose deepens and reads almost terracotta. On pale floors it stays pink and the blue medallion dominates.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
