Colors can read slightly differently from screen to screen.
The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Slate Medallion is a bone washable rug with a gray medallion worn through its middle.
A stepped medallion with pendants above and below sits at the center, drawn in slate over a pale field scattered with small rosettes. The medallion has been rubbed away across its widest part, so the drawing breaks into fragments exactly where a rug wears first.
The wear is not damage; it is where the design is. The rug is drawn to look as though it has already been walked on for fifty years.
Bone and oyster in the field, slate and mushroom in the medallion and borders.

One warm color keeps this rug from going cold: tan leather, brass or cognac tones.
Cream upholstery stays plain, with terracotta as this pale slate rug's warm accent.
On dark wood the bone ground lifts and the medallion reads clearly. On pale oak the whole rug goes quiet and only the border survives.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
