Pattern
Aegean Wash Navy is the same weather in deep blue.
Horizontal striations run edge to edge, ink over steel blue, opening into paler drifts where the wash thins. No border, no repeat, no top or bottom. From standing height it reads as a single blue surface; up close it is hundreds of separate lines.
The pale drifts are not symmetrical. They fall where they fall, which is what keeps a plain blue rug from looking printed.

Ink, steel blue and a chalky white that surfaces in the lighter passes.

The backing is part of the rug.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Cut to your measurement.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
Woven, then finished by hand.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
Low pile, by decision.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
