The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Berber Diamond is a bone washable rug drawn in soft gray line.
Rows of diamonds run down the field, each one flanked by short dashes like eyelashes, with smaller diamonds floating between the rows. Two bands of open lattice close the design top and bottom, and a narrow braided line runs down both sides.
The line weight changes as it goes. Some diamonds are drawn firmly, others so faintly they almost fade out, the way a hand tires across a long piece.
Bone and oatmeal ground with the drawing in warm gray and taupe.

The gray line sits with concrete and pale plaster, with linen softening this quiet rug.
Terracotta is the one warm note this neutral-weighted rug can carry well.
On dark wood the ground brightens and the drawing recedes. On pale oak the gray line becomes the only thing you see.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
