The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Brush Ribbon Coral is the brightest of the family, coral and marigold ribbons on pale oatmeal.
The lines travel in pairs, a marigold stroke followed closely by a coral one, with a wide run of plain oatmeal before the next pair. The pairs repeat at even intervals across the rug and run straight off the edges, with no border and no center. Each stroke swells and thins along its length like a brush pressed and lifted, so its edges ripple gently.
The light ground is heathered with a fine horizontal grain, which softens the two bright colors so the rug reads cheerful rather than loud.
Pale oatmeal, coral and a soft marigold yellow.

White paint and linen keep it light, with undyed cotton for soft texture.
Sage or denim gives one cool counterpoint, with cream walls to hold it together.
On pale oak the ground blends into the floor and the coral and marigold lines seem to float. On dark wood the oatmeal stands out bright against the floor, striped in warm color.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
