Description
Pattern
Caramel Plaid is a camel washable rug ruled into squares by dotted lines.
Cream lines cross the field in both directions, but they are not solid: each one is a row of small dots, so the plaid reads as stitched rather than printed. The squares between them are left plain, showing the slubbed weave underneath.
The dotted lines double up every few inches, making wider bands, so the plaid has a rhythm instead of a single repeat.

The backing is part of the rug.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Cut to your measurement.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
Woven, then finished by hand.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
Low pile, by decision.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
