The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Courtyard Tile Brick Red sets the worn tile floor in deep brick, drawn mostly tone on tone.
Brighter rust red lines outline octagonal tiles and the small squares set between them. Star rosettes with a scalloped sand outline, lacy medallions and sprays of small flowers fill the octagons in sand and darker red, and the squares carry sand four-petal flowers or pairs of mirrored brackets. A handful of rosettes open into pointed petals in a muted antique gold. Fine rust dashes, close-set like ruler marks, run around the edge.
Parts of the drawing have worn away and some rosettes break up into scattered fragments, so it reads as an old floor that has seen years of use rather than a new red rug.
Brick and oxblood ground, rust red lines, sand flowers and a few antique gold petals.
Brick red takes walnut, brass and cognac leather, warm materials that match its depth.
Cream and linen give it room, with pale oak to keep the red from closing in.
Olive or deep green gives one cool counterpoint, with white paint to keep it light.
On pale oak the brick reads warm and the sand drawing comes forward. On dark wood it deepens toward oxblood and the sand tiles and lines carry the pattern.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
