The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Cypress Night is a deep blue washable rug planted with a whole forest.
Cypress trees, bare branching shrubs and small flowering sprigs stand across the entire field, each one drawn separately and none repeating. There is no border and no medallion; the trees simply keep going to the edge and are cut where they meet it.
Every tree leans a different way and no two are the same height. It reads as a planting, not a pattern.
Ink blue ground with the trees in rust, coral, cream and pale gold.

Chalk white, pale plaster and greige stay close and calm, a frame for this rug.
Terracotta is the single warm point here, with denim echoing this rug's own cool cast.
On pale oak the blue reads deep and the trees glow. On dark wood the ground merges with the floor and only the rust survives.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
