The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Etched Bouquet Orchid Pink covers a warm cream ground with urns of flowers, drawn in orchid pink like an old engraving.
Each urn has a fluted neck and a small scrolled foot, and holds peonies, open poppies, a wide daisy and rosebuds among long curling leaves. The urns stand in staggered rows, each inside a loosely mirrored spray, and between them paired stems arch toward each other, strung with tiny buds. Every petal and leaf is shaded with fine mauve hatching, and a narrow pink border ends in a scalloped edge of nested arches, like lace trim.
Soft clouds of brighter pink drift over some of the flowers as if the color had faded unevenly, so from across the room it reads as a gentle all-over floral and the line work only sharpens up close.
Warm cream and orchid pink, with mauve in the fine lines and soft clouds of brighter pink.

Linen and chalk white keep it light, with undyed cotton for a soft, plain texture.
Sage or deep green gives one cool contrast, with white paint to keep it fresh.
On pale oak the cream ground blends with the floor and the orchid bouquets carry the pattern. On dark wood the whole rug lightens and the scalloped border draws a clear pink edge.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
