The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Etched Bouquet Sand is the most neutral of the family, with urns of flowers drawn in golden tan on ivory.
Peonies, poppies, a wide daisy and rosebuds spill from footed urns with fluted necks, while the stems and scrolls around them are traced in a finer taupe gray. The urns repeat in staggered rows, joined by paired arches strung with tiny buds, and a few of the larger petals are tinted pale mint. A narrow beige border ends in a scalloped edge of nested tan arches.
Fine hatching and a soft horizontal grain give it the look of an old engraving on linen, and pale washed patches let parts of the drawing fade almost into the ground.
Ivory and sand, with golden tan and taupe in the drawing and a hint of pale mint.

Chalk white and linen keep it bright, with pale oak underfoot for warmth.
Sage or eucalyptus picks up the mint petals, with undyed cotton to soften it.
On pale oak the ivory ground almost meets the floor and the tan bouquets carry the outline. On dark wood the rug glows and the whole pattern reads clearly.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
