The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Golden Medallion is a gold washable rug with one pale medallion floating in the middle.
A large ivory medallion, drawn with scrolling leaves and small rosettes, sits on a saffron field that is itself covered in flowers. Pendants hang from the medallion top and bottom, and the same ivory vine climbs into all four corners.
The medallion is not white. It is a hundred grays and blues drawn close together, which is why it holds up against so much gold.
Saffron gold in the field, ivory and gray in the medallion, with navy, teal and ochre in the flower heads.
Gold takes walnut and aged brass, warm tones softened by cream on this rug.
Ivory medallion picks up cream and white paint, with linen echoing this rug's pale ground.
Cream and linen keep this rug soft, with matte black held to a small accent.
On dark wood the gold deepens and reads almost amber. On pale oak it lightens and the medallion floats free.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
