Colors can read slightly differently from screen to screen.
The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Harlequin Sand is a sand washable rug built from diamonds on point.
A harlequin grid fills the field: cream and taupe diamonds alternating, each one woven to look like coarse jute so the color never sits flat. A plain brown band frames the whole thing and keeps the grid from running off the edge.
The diamonds along the edges are cut, not shrunk. The grid carries on as if the rug were a window onto something larger.
Cream and taupe diamonds inside a darker brown border, all of it slubbed.

Cream diamonds pick up white paint and linen, with matte black sharpening this rug's pattern.
Matte black and clay frame this warm rug, kept soft by a field of linen.
On pale oak the rug blends and the grid reads faintly. On dark wood the cream diamonds jump forward.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
