Description
Pattern
Indigo Trellis is the same stepped lattice in blue.
Angular arrowheads interlock down the field, each junction holding a small oval medallion. Every line is stepped rather than curved, drawn the way a counted weave has to draw a diagonal. Three borders of decreasing width close it in.
Two blues do the work: an ink so dark it reads black at a distance, and a dusty mid blue that only separates from it up close.
Color
Ivory ground with the lattice in ink and dusty blue, and cream flecks in the borders.

White Paint & Linen & Terracotta
Ivory ground picks up white paint and linen, with terracotta as this rug's warm note.

Ochre & Rust & Cream
One warm color rescues this rug: ochre, rust or cognac against its pale, neutral-weighted ground.

- CreamWall
- Cream, chalk or pale gray walls
- Not a second blue pattern anywhere in view
On pale oak the rug reads crisp and graphic. On dark wood the ink lines merge and only the ivory ground carries the drawing.
Where it works
- Living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways
- Flat weave: lies flat, layers over jute or wool
- 5 mm: clears a door, sits over underfloor heating
- 70% cotton to breathe, 30% polyester to hold the weave through a wash
- Non-slip backing woven in, not glued on
- Enough body that the corners stay down
- 34 sizes and four shapes, cut to order

Why Rugember®
We are not a brand that buys rugs.
Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.

The backing is part of the rug.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Cut to your measurement.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
Woven, then finished by hand.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
Low pile, by decision.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
