The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Mocha Fade is a taupe washable rug that has been washed until it nearly went.
An all-over vine pattern still covers the field, but only in ghost: dense in the center, dissolving toward the corners, with a whole band along the top where the drawing has simply given up. The borders are visible only as a change of tone.
The fade is not symmetrical. One long side is paler than the other, exactly as a rug fades when it sits half in sunlight for years.
Mocha and mushroom, with gray-violet where the wash has bitten deepest.

One dark object anchors this rug: matte black or walnut against soft cream.
Cream and linen keep this mocha rug soft, with matte black as its hard point.
On pale oak the rug and floor merge into one soft plane. On dark wood the pale passages come forward and the fade becomes obvious.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
