The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Palazzo Scroll Garnet covers a deep red ground with a large baroque damask in warm oatmeal.
Mirrored acanthus sprays curl out from a stacked palmette core and sweep down into broad, feathered leaf tips. Between them sit oval cartouches holding a double rosette inside a ring of flame-like scrolls, with a small crown above and below, and open daisies and round beads fill the gaps. The repeat is staggered, so sprays and cartouches alternate edge to edge, and an oatmeal Greek key runs all the way round between fine lines, with a narrow band of red outside it.
Fine horizontal streaks run through both colors, so the oatmeal looks woven into the red like old upholstery damask rather than laid on top.
Deep garnet and warm oatmeal, two colors only, with darker red streaks in the ground.

Cream and linen give the red room to breathe, with pale oak underfoot.
Deep green and olive answer the red, with white paint to keep the room clear.
On pale oak the red reads rich and the oatmeal drawing stays crisp. On dark wood the ground deepens toward wine and the pale scrolls carry the whole pattern.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
