The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Scallop Cascade Ocean Blue stacks rows of rounded scallops in every blue from pale sky to deep cobalt, like the scales of a fish.
Each scallop is a half circle edged along its top with a thin pale line, and every row steps half a scallop over and overlaps the base of the row above. The shades are mixed so the darker and lighter scallops gather in soft columns with zigzag edges, and a few pale silver and aqua scallops catch the light between them. A plain pale aqua band runs around the edge, with a deeper cerulean band just inside it whose scalloped edge faces outward.
Fine broken streaks run across every scallop and give the blues a heathered, slubby look, so from across the room the columns read as soft shading and the outlines sharpen up close.
Pale sky, cerulean and deep cobalt blue with flashes of silver and aqua, framed in pale aqua and cerulean.

White paint and linen keep it crisp, with chalk white for a soft, clean finish.
Terracotta or ochre gives one warm note, with sand to ease the contrast.
On pale oak the blues read fresh and the pale scallops stay bright. On dark wood the deep cobalt scallops sink toward the floor and the lighter columns come forward.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
