Colors can read slightly differently from screen to screen.
The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Serapi Flame is a red washable rug with a blue medallion stacked in three tiers.
The medallion is built like architecture: a dark blue core, a salmon shelf above and below it, then a wider blue tier, then the red field. Sky-blue corner panels close the design, and the ivory border runs a row of small stepped rosettes all the way round.
The red is not a single red. It shifts from brick to tomato in horizontal bands, which is what a hand-dyed lot does and what a printed one never does.
Brick red in the field, sky and ink blue in the medallion and corners, ivory in the border.
Warm wood and brass, rather than chrome, match this rug's own saturated warm flame.
One matte black object gives it an edge, echoing this rug's own high contrast.
Brushed steel is the cool counterpoint this flame-warm rug's single accent slot wants.
On dark wood the reds go deep and the blues glow. On pale floors the sky-blue corners come forward and the rug reads brighter.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
