The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Serapi Forest is the same medallion with the field turned green.
A coral rosette sits at the center of an ink-blue panel, framed by a stepped forest-green shoulder and ivory corners. The sky-blue border runs hooked leaves and flowers around all four sides, with coral picking out the outer edge.
Green and blue this close together should collapse into one another. They do not, because a hard coral line runs between them everywhere they meet.
Forest green in the field, ink and sky blue in the medallion and border, coral and ivory as the accents.

Coral picks up terracotta and warm, pale plaster, with linen softening this forest rug.
Matte black is this forest rug's single dark note, tucked between cream and linen.
On dark wood the green deepens toward forest. On pale oak it lifts and the blue border comes forward.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
