The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Stonewash is a charcoal washable rug with a pale border and nothing else.
One dark rectangle sitting inside a silver frame. No motif, no medallion, no corner work. The whole design is the edge where charcoal meets light gray, and that edge is deliberately uneven, drawn by hand rather than ruled.
Look closely and the dark field is not flat: fine horizontal streaks run through it, lighter in some passes than others, the way stone shows its bedding.
Charcoal in the field, silver gray in the border, with white grit running through both.
Charcoal takes matte black, smoked glass and white paint, echoing this rug's high contrast.
The silver border sits with concrete, pale plaster and linen, near-neutral like this rug.
Terracotta is the one warm accent that suits white paint and linen on this rug.
On light floors the border merges and you read one dark block. On dark floors the pale frame lifts the whole rug off the ground.
No cover to unzip, no pad to peel apart. One woven piece, in and out of your own machine.
Four steps, start to finish.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
