The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Storm Horizon is a gray washable rug built from horizontal bands of weather.
Layer on layer of washed gray runs across the field, some bands nearly black, some bleached to white, each one bleeding into the one below. The bands are not straight; they sag and lift like water seen edge on.
The heaviest band never lands in the same place twice. In a runner it falls near one end, in a square near the middle, and that is a property of the drawing, not a fault.
Charcoal, slate and storm blue over chalk white, with a faint green in the palest bands.

White keeps it clean, cream keeps it soft, and linen fills out this rug's ground.
One warm color anchors this rug: tan leather, cognac tones or ochre against its contrast.
On dark floors the white bands read like light on water. On pale floors the dark bands dominate and the rug looks heavier.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
