Colors can read slightly differently from screen to screen.
The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Umber Storm is a washable rug where the pattern has been rubbed off.
Dark umber survives along both long edges and disintegrates toward the center, leaving a warm gray ghost where the old drawing used to be. The blue-brown flecks thin out gradually, like a photograph left in the sun and only partly faded.
Whatever medallion was once here is gone. You read the shape of it, not the lines, and that absence is the design.
Umber and coffee at the edges, warm gray through the middle, over chalk white.

One deep green object cuts the warmth, standing out against this rug's high contrast.
Terracotta warms this rug's quiet ground, kept soft by cream and linen around it.
On pale floors the worn center reads bright and the rug looks framed. On dark wood the umber edges merge and the ghost floats free.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
