The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Village Rows Copper sets burnt copper rows on warm taupe, close in tone and quiet from a distance.
The broad bands run straight off both sides, some split by a thin pale line into a wide strip and a narrow one. Between them the taupe rows are clouded with copper and crossed by fine gray-beige lines, and every edge steps rather than runs smooth. There is no border and no center, only rows that change width as they go.
Because the two tones sit so close, the long joins in the bands and the pale flecks show only up close, and from across the room it reads as a warm, softly banded field.

Cream and linen keep the room light, with pale oak to lift the taupe.
Deep green or denim gives one cool contrast, with white paint to keep it clean.
On pale floors the copper bands stand out clearly and the rug reads warm. On dark wood the taupe merges with the floor and only the copper rows carry the pattern.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
