The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Brush Ribbon Cocoa is the warmest of the family, sand and ochre gold ribbons on cocoa brown.
The lines travel in pairs, a sand stroke and a gold stroke set close together, with a wide band of plain brown before the next pair. The pairs repeat at even intervals across the rug and run straight off the edges, with no border and no center. Each stroke swells and thins along its length like a brush pressed and lifted, so its edges ripple gently.
The brown ground is heathered, with a fine horizontal grain and darker flecks, so it stays soft behind the bright lines rather than reading as a flat block.
Cocoa brown with sand and ochre gold.

Cream and linen keep it from feeling heavy, with pale oak floors around it.
Ochre and terracotta echo the gold lines, with cane to keep the mood relaxed.
On pale oak the cocoa reads as a deep, warm block and the gold lines glow. On dark wood the brown merges with the floor and the sand and gold stripes carry the rug.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
