The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Ikat Spindle Rust is the warmest of the four, with rust brown ikat columns and rosy taupe chains between them.
The chains stack pointed pods end to end, each with a small cream eye, inside cream outlines that pinch in where the pods meet. Pale blue streaks run down through the taupe, and the edges fray into short vertical strokes, as in ikat cloth. A narrow border of crosswise rust and cream pinstripes closes the field, with nested squares at the corners.
Lighter terracotta flecks run across the rust in horizontal lines, so the ground reads as warm, uneven dye rather than one flat brown.
Rust brown and rosy taupe, with cream outlines and a hint of pale blue.

Cream and linen keep it warm and light, with undyed cotton for softness.
Denim or deep green gives one cool note, with white paint to frame the rust.
On pale floors the rust columns glow and the taupe chains read clearly. On dark wood the rust merges with the warm wood tones and the cream outlines take over.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
