The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Mod Petal Tangerine crowds the field with big seventies flowers in tangerine orange, set among forest green leaves.
Each flower has five rounded petals and a honey yellow center inside a pale stone ring that sits a little off center. The flowers come in three sizes and sit so close that neighboring petals run together, leaving teardrop leaves and small khaki gaps between them. Everything is drawn flat, with no outlines or shading, like shapes cut from paper. A pale stone band with a scalloped outer edge, like a string of beads, frames the field inside a narrow orange margin and cuts the flowers off at the edges.
A fine horizontal grain runs through every color, so up close the flat shapes look soft and heathered, while from across the room they read as a bold, simple graphic.
Tangerine orange and forest green on a khaki ground, with honey yellow centers and pale stone rings.

Cream and linen give the orange some air, with pale oak underfoot.
Deep green or olive repeats the leaves, with brass to pick up the yellow centers.
On pale oak the orange reads bright and the green leaves stand out clearly. On dark wood the khaki and green sink back and the flowers seem to float on the floor.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
