The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Painted Gingham Coral is the warmest of the gingham colors, a soft coral check that warms a room without taking it over.
Coral bands cross the field in both directions, dusty where they run alone and a brighter orange where they overlap, with cool pale gray squares in between. The squares are drawn freehand rather than ruled, leaning slightly and changing size across the rug. A plain coral border carries two thin pale lines, and the outer row of squares is clipped to slivers where it meets them.
A fine diagonal grain over the whole surface keeps the coral chalky and soft rather than bright.
Dusty coral and a deeper orange with pale gray squares, inside a clear coral border.

Cream and linen let it breathe, with undyed cotton to keep the room soft.
Denim blue or sage cools it down, with white paint to keep things fresh.
On pale oak the coral stays light and the whole rug feels sunny. On dark wood the orange deepens toward terracotta and the check reads stronger.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
