The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Tomato Picnic Tangerine is the warmer of the two, with tangerine tomatoes on a peach and cream gingham.
Tomatoes hang in threes from a branching vine, with single whole fruit and cut halves scattered between them, each half showing pale flesh and curled seed chambers. Here the vines and sepals are a cooler, blue-leaning green that stands out clearly against the orange. Peach bands cross over cream squares and deepen where they meet, and a narrow border of smaller orange and peach checks frames the field, clipping the tomatoes at the edge.
The same fine woven grain covers the surface and softens the orange, so the rug reads warm rather than loud, and up close every outline steps slightly like a woven picture.

Cream and linen keep it light, with undyed cotton for a soft, plain texture.
Denim or deep green picks up the vines, with white paint to keep it fresh.
On pale oak the peach check melts into the floor and the orange tomatoes stand out. On dark wood the cream squares brighten and the whole check reads clearly.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
