The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Loom Strata Apricot stacks warm horizontal bands down the rug, like a woven camp blanket in apricot and sand.
The bands run straight across from side to side with no border, each close to the same width. In every run of about a dozen, apricot comes round three times, once in a deeper amber, between sand, gray and a rosy taupe, and a single charcoal brown band anchors the sequence before it starts again. Where two near tones sit side by side they read as one wider stripe, so the rhythm looks looser than it is.
Fine pale threads run the length of the rug through every band and a few cross them, so up close the color looks woven and slightly heathered, never flat.
Apricot and amber over sand, with gray, rosy taupe and a charcoal brown.
Apricot takes oak, cane and cognac leather, warm materials that follow the amber bands.
Linen and undyed cotton keep it soft, with cream walls to carry the sand bands.
Walnut and bronze pick up the dark band, with pale plaster to keep it light.
On pale oak the sand bands merge with the floor and the apricot and charcoal stripes carry the pattern. On dark wood the charcoal sinks into the floor and the rug reads as a light, warm field.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
