PewterColors can read slightly differently from screen to screen.
The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Loom Strata Pewter runs the banded blanket in grays, from pale silver down to charcoal.
Light silver bands alternate with mid grays from edge to edge, with no border at the sides. Once in each run a band turns warm, closer to mushroom than gray, and a charcoal band, graded from dark to a shade lighter, returns at steady intervals. Neighboring grays sit so close that some pairs read as one wide band, so the stripes seem to change width from across the room.
Pale threads run lengthwise and faintly across, giving the grays the heathered look of suiting cloth instead of flat paint.
Silver, pewter and charcoal, with one warm mushroom band in each run.
Gray takes walnut, brass and cognac leather, warm materials that pick up the mushroom band.
Chalk white and linen keep it light, with pale oak to soften the charcoal.
Matte black and smoked glass make a sharper room, with concrete underfoot to match the grays.
On pale oak the grays look cool and the charcoal bands mark the rhythm clearly. On dark wood the silver bands lift forward and the darker stripes fade into the floor.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
