The woven nature of a real rug allows a minor size variation of ±5%.
Loom Strata Olive Gold gives the banded blanket an earthy turn, olive gold against sand and taupe.
Olive gold comes round three times in each run of about a dozen bands, between pale wheat, a honey tone and several taupes. Once in every run a deep umber band, graded in two shades, anchors the sequence. There is no border; the bands simply run out to the bound edges.
Pale lengthwise threads and a heathered, slightly cloudy surface make the stripes look woven into the cloth rather than laid on top.
Olive gold, sand and wheat, with taupe between them and one deep umber.

Cream and linen let the gold glow, with pale oak to match the sand bands.
Deep green or denim gives one cool note, with white paint to keep it fresh.
On pale oak the sand bands blend with the floor and the olive gold and umber stripes stand out. On dark wood the umber sinks away and the rug turns light and golden.

Four generations, one throughline: it started with a kilim, hand-woven in Central Anatolia. Today every Rugember is woven on our own machines in Istanbul, cut to the size you choose, and finished by hand.
Not a pad you lay underneath, and not a cover you clip on. The non-slip backing is bonded to the weave itself, so there is nothing to slip, peel or replace.
Every pattern, four shapes, thirty-four stock sizes. If none of them is your room, we cut the same weave to the measurement you give us.
The loom does the weaving. The edges, the binding and the final check are done by a person. That is also why a small tolerance in size is normal rather than a fault.
A low, dense weave is what lets a rug go into a drum and come out lying flat again. It is a construction choice, not a style one.
